UKAB Safety Recommendations are made when the Board believes that action needs to be taken to address a particular safety matter that has been highlighted as a result of an Airprox assessment. Organisations either accept, partially accept or reject the recommendation, and notify Dir UKAB of their decision and any policy or operations changes that are proposed or made. Although it is for the organisations concerned to decide on how to respond to a UKAB Safety Recommendation, the CAA and MAA are informed of all responses and outcomes.
